Peggy Lipton (or as Rashida calls her, mom) was the star of the TV show, Mod Squad (1970s). She married Quincy Jones in 1974 and divorced in 1990. They remain close friends.
Quincy Jones (or as Rashida calls him, dad) is music impresario, conductor, record producer, musical arranger, film composer, and trumpeter. If you saw the movie Austin Powers: Goldmember, he appeared in the beginning. He has worked with Michael Jackson (he produced Thriller and Bad), Frank Sinatra, and many other big names.
Kidada Jones (or Rashida calls her, sis) is an actress, fashion designer, and model. She is two years older than Rashida.
